Marielsa Niels

Photographer invited by the city of Clermont-Ferrand, France
“It is a nebulous and disturbed interiority that emerges step by step in this  temporary isolation. The imagination is the only possibility for this folded body :  the sceneries he guesses and tries to breathe are a way out of his solitude”

Marielsa Niels

Born in 1986, Marielsa Niels is a photographer author. She lives and works in France. Her aesthetic experiments participate in the development of her protean photographic writing. Individual asserts himself as the cornerstone of his work : whether it is to highlight with humor the carcans or the stereotypes encountered by this social animal or to question the mechanisms of the intimate, complex and intrinsic phenomena that participate in our self- construction.
