Photographer invited by the city of Leeuwarden, Netherlands
Picture
Adnan Jarjour - Soccer player - As it stands now, playing football (soccer) is not in it for the time being. Sport is my life and that is why I was looking for a new hobby, racing bikes! A sport where you can really lose your energy and get to places where you have never been before.
Picture
Bettie Spits - Care worker - On a visit, but different. People send me photos of favorite pieces of interior, of which I make a drawing / painting. This way I am connected to the world during this corona period, but I am safe! (I exchange my works for something sweet, nice or tasty).
Picture
Dinie Postma - Since a week of 4 my sewing workshop and fabric shop has temporarily turned into a small facemask factory. I normally also make medical fittings from textile, but now there was a real boom in questions about washable - and therefore durable - mouth masks. I use high-quality materials, neutral or hip and cheerful fabrics, it also becomes a fashion item. The reason for wearing mouth masks is not fun, but a nice cap can also brighten up the street scene.

Enno Feenstra - Production manager and producer for festivals and events. Best job ever! But right now there are no festivals to organize and that's why I made the choice not to sit still, but to learn something new. Metalwork has always been a passion, and in the forge of the Leeuwarder company “Mannen van Staal” I got the chance to learn many new techniques. Maybe I needed this push.
Picture
Esther de Jong - Singer - I have little to no work at the moment and I’m mainly doing preparatory work. Try to write new songs, record demos, fold EP’s, eat a lot and also, so it seems, repair a small suitcase that had been broken for year. Every drawback apparently has its advantage.
Picture
Hans Achterbosch - The Covid 19 pandemic offers me the space and opportunity for critical self-reflection. As a “global” architect, this situation therefore compels me to her “calibration” of my legacy or heritage.
Picture
Joke Lunsing - As a member of the FRIA artists' association, I was going to participate in an exhibition in Harlingen, entitled Code Rood. This challenged artists to respond to alarming developments of our time. Cynically, the exhibition was canceled because of Corona, while my work through Covid-19 gets more meaning, attention and depth. That is why I kept on working on the pieces and am now working with my daughter and photographer Jorah Terwisscha from Scheltinga on an installation that must be ready in 2021.
Picture
Karina Kroft and Remko Smids - Work in Theater - We combine home schooling of the children with inventing, designing and enabling our own Corona project, projecting connecting, hopeful quotes on buildings. A new one every night.
Picture
Sjoukje Terpstra - Designer - From computer to painting canvas. An exercise in patience and new technique. | https://dok6268conceptontwerp.myportfolio.com/werk "Blue Demon" (1922-2000) is one of the most popular and inspiring luchadores (wrestlers) from the Mexican martial arts "Lucha Libre". He is seen as a mythical superhero and a symbol of justice.
Picture
Wiesje Procee - Actually, I would now be living on the island of Terschelling. Working as a copywriter for Oerol Festival, enjoy the island. Due to the crisis, it is canceled. The great thing is that I can now work on my pottery with full commitment. Maybe it will still be a career switch...
