Esch-sur-Alzette

Luxembourg
Picture
Esch is now the second largest city in the country and wonderfully blends history and modernity, tradition and contemporaneity. The city is full of possibilities to organize your stay under the sign of diversity while being close to the everyday life of its inhabitants. The Belval University District attracts students and researchers from all around the world, to the south of the country. The latter have given a youthful wind to the gastronomy and the shops and make the neighborhood live. The architecture, composed of old industrial halls and more modern elements wonderfully integrated, is worth a visit. Be sure to visit the Esch’s animal park and the only fully preserved Luxembourg’s mine, the «Centre d'accueil Ellergronn» !
