“In the crossroads both will meet.
A tired wanderer,
An extinguished star
Which fell from the heavens
To bring an answer.”
ENGLISH VERSION

The Time of Uncertainty
An unfound answer.

Sometimes one tires,
Sometimes one breaks down,
Sometimes there is no one to ask,
How would it be better?
The hidden diamond answers,
Is spitefully silent,
It cannot be caught by hand.

The encompassing hidden words
Regarding everything,
As Hamlet once said:
"To be or not to be".

It will be as it should be
And there will not be
What should not be.

Only between unknown
Narrow path slides.

If you travel left or right,
In the crossroads both will meet.
A tired wanderer,
An extinguished star
Which fell from the heavens
To bring an answer.

They will meet unknowingly,
But don't recognize that they are destined for each other.
Both will meet but will not notice.

A lost dog will run by,
A growing moon searching in the puddles for a new self,
But the answer will remain
In the road's holes somewhere.

ORIGINAL TEXT

TĀDĀ NEZIŅAS LAIKĀ.
Nepacelta atbilde.

Kādreiz kāds pagurst,
Kādreiz kāds salūst,
Kādreiz nav kam prasīt -
Kā labāk būt?

Ietīti atbilžu dimanti
Spītīgi klusē.
Nedodas rokās
Ieslēpti vārdi par visu,
Kas būs un kas reiz nebūs -
Kā Hamlets reiz to min.

Būs kā jābūt -
Un nebūs, kam nebūt,
Tikai pa vidu šaura
Neziņas staka slīd.
Iesi pa kreisi vai iesi pa labi
Krustcelēs satiksies abi -
Saguris ceļinieks, dzisusi zvaigne
Kura krita no debesīm
Atbildi aiznest.

Satiksies nezinot,
Ka viens otram sūtīti.
Satiksies, nemanīs,

Garām skries suns noklīdis
Mēness peļķēs meklēs
Jaunu sevi –
Tikai atbilde paliks
Kaut kur nepacelta –
Ceļa bedrēs.
